We facilitate connections and collaboration between users who wish to co-own or develop multiplex properties.

2. Disclaimer of Liability
By using Plex Living, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Intermediary Role: Plex Living acts solely as an intermediary to facilitate connections between users for real estate development purposes. We are not involved in the actual real estate transaction, purchase, sale, financing, or development of properties. Any agreements or transactions that occur between users are entered into solely at their own discretion and risk. Independent Legal and Financial Advice: Users are strongly encouraged to seek independent legal, real estate, and financial advice before entering into any agreements or transactions facilitated by the Plex Living platform. Plex Living assumes no liability for any disputes, financial losses, or legal claims that may arise from the use of our platform or services.
No Ownership Interest: Plex Living does not have any ownership interest in the properties listed or discussed on the platform, nor does it have any stake in the financial outcomes of real estate transactions conducted through the platform.
Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plex Living disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of the platform or services. This includes, but is not limited to, any disputes, claims, financial losses, or damages related to real estate transactions, construction delays, or project outcomes.
3. User Responsibilities
Users of Plex Living are responsible for the following:
Accurate Information: Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account, submitting profiles, and engaging with other users.
Independent Due Diligence: Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence, including verifying property details, ensuring legal compliance, obtaining financing, and confirming development timelines.
Transaction Risk: All transactions, negotiations, and agreements are conducted at the sole discretion and risk of the users involved. Plex Living does not mediate or participate in any transaction negotiations or real estate contracts.
Compliance with Laws: Users must comply with all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws, including those governing real estate transactions, property ownership, zoning, and construction.
4. Strata Management Services
Please note that Strata in a Box and any Strata Management services offered by Plex Living are not part of these Terms of Service. Strata Management services are subject to separate terms and conditions, which will be made available when you engage in or sign up for those services. The use of Strata Management services will be governed by those separate terms, and by using our platform for real estate purposes, you acknowledge that Strata Management is a distinct service.
5. Third-Party Services and Links
Plex Living may provide links to third-party websites, resources, or services for your convenience. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for any third-party content, services, or products. Any interaction or engagement with third-party services is conducted at your own risk, and Plex Living is not liable for any damages or disputes arising from your use of such services.
6. Modifications to the Platform and Services
Plex Living reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue any aspect of the platform or services at any time without notice. We are not liable for any losses or inconveniences caused by such modifications or discontinuations.
7. Termination
We may, in our sole discretion, suspend or terminate your account or access to Plex Living at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms. Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms that should survive termination (including but not limited to disclaimers and limitations of liability) will remain in effect.
8. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any disputes arising between you and another user or a third party, Plex Living is not responsible for mediating or resolving such disputes. All disputes related to real estate transactions, property ownership, construction, or development must be resolved between the parties involved, through independent legal action if necessary.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of British Columbia.
10. Changes to Terms of Service
We may update these Terms from time to time in response to changing legal, regulatory, or operational requirements. When we do, we will post the updated version on our website and notify you if significant changes are made. Your continued use of the platform after the update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
